Service Description

This class offers context for Stevenson’s Jekyll and Hyde. We will focus upon the significance of Stevenson’s life, his Victorian world, important themes and the Gothic genre. We will cover: Stevenson’s biography, science and religion, the industrial revolution, class differences, gender codes, and importance of the Gothic genre. Students will receive the context presentation to print for their own revision.
